It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Sheila, of One Persons Journey Through a World of Books, is the host of It's Monday! What Are You Reading? This is a weekly event to share what we read last week, what we are currently reading and what books we plan to read this week.

Recently read:

  • Flowerbed of State - Dorothy St. James
Summary: The first book in the White House Gardner Mystery series. Casey discovers the body of a dead woman and vows to solve her murder.
I'm reading:
  • Ten Beach Road - Wendy Wax
My first summer beach read! I hope to finish it later today.
Reading soon:
  • On Maggie's Watch - Ann Wertz Garvin
  • Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn't Have) - Sarah Mlynowski
What are you reading this week?

  1. I'm currently reading the ebook "I, Spy?" by Kate Johnson (1st book in the Sophie Green mystery series). It feels a lot like a Stephanie Plum read. Pretty good so far. Quite funny banter.

Last week I read "Good Tidings" by Terri Reid and really enjoyed it (reviewed on my blog). It's the 2nd book in the Mary O'Reilly paranormal mystery series).

Next up? I may finally pick up the Hunger Games since I believe I'm one of the last people on earth to jump on that bandwagon. ;)

  4. It really is just about time for beach reads, isn't it? Ten Beach Road was mentioned on at least one other Monday post. I've been reading really long serious books, but there is probably a beach read in my future.
