Booking Through Thursday

Holidays
It’s a holiday weekend here in the U.S., so let’s keep today’s question simple–What are you reading? Anything special? Any particularly juicy summer reading?

I'm reading The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella.  This book has been on my TBR list for awhile.  I should finish it tomorrow.  The hard part is deciding what to read next:  Sail by James Patterson; Twilight by Stephenie Meyer; or Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich.

  1. Twilight is amazing. I know a lot of people (including me) who were not-too-sure about it, and held off from reading it for a while, but it is truly addicting.

The toughest weekend of this year was when I had Twilight borrowed from my friend, and I finished it on Friday night - at like one in the morning - and I had to wait until MONDAY for her to bring the second book to school. Truly the hardest weekend ever.

    hope.

  2. I'm almost ashamed to admit I haven't read any of Sophie Kinsella's books yet. I saw her on a talk show awhile back, and she was really entertaining to listen to.

Right now I'm working through a few things including an alternate history conspiracy thriller called Conspirator's Odyssey by A.K. Kuykendall. It's turning out to be quite the page turner, and I'm having a hard time putting it down long enough to get some work done. :)

  3. Hi Hope-

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of vampire books, movies, etc. Having said that, I can't help being drawn into how good everyone has said this book (actually the entire series) is. So, I am looking forward to reading it.

  4. Hi Ruth-

I really like Sophie Kinsella. Her Shopaholic Series is good. If you want to read something by her, I would recommend Can You Keep a Secret?. It's my favorite book by her. So far, The Undomestic Goddess is good. It's very humorous. It's just a quick, cute, and easy read.
