It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Sheila, of One Persons Journey Through a World of Books, is the host of It's Monday! What Are You Reading? This is a weekly event to share what we read last week, what we are currently reading and what books we plan to read this week.

  • Now You See Her - James Patterson & Michael Ledwidge
    Summary: Nina Bloom is forced to return to a life she walked away from years ago.
  • Sprinkle with Murder - Jenn McKinlay
    Summary: Book 1 of the Cupcake Bakery Mystery series, Mel and Angie go into business together selling cupcakes. When their friend's fiancée is murdered, Mel becomes the number one suspect.
  • Buttercream Bump Off - Jenn McKinlay
    Summary: Book 2 of the Cupcake Bakery Mystery series. Mel's mother starts dating again. Unfortunately her date is murdered before the date is over.
  • Death by the Dozen - Jenn McKinlay
    Summary: Book 3 of the Cupcake Bakery Mystery series. Mel and Angie compete in a bake off in order to bring more business to their bakery. When Mel's mentor is found dead on the first day of the competition, Mel investigates to solve his murder.
  • The Diva Cooks a Goose - Krista Davis
    Summary: Book 4 of the Domestic Diva Mystery series. Sophie is looking forward to spending Christmas and New Year's with her family. When she arrives at her brother's house on Christmas day, the presents have been stolen. If that's not bad enough, her sister-in-law's family are suspects in a murder.

  2. Honestly I didn't think I would ever pick it up... until I saw the movie trailer. The movie looks good and being one that likes to read the book prior to seeing the movie, I decided to start the trilogy.

  4. I enjoyed that series too. They would probably be very good on audio.

  5. I may have to check out Now You See Her.... I like Patterson teamed up with that author.

  11. I loved The Hunger Games! I loved book 2, but ultimately was disappointed in the final installment. :( But I'm all about The Hunger Games and can't wait to see the movie!
