What I read last week:
Summary: A mother and daughter are severely injured during a school fire. While the police investigate to determined the cause of the fire (appears to be arson), the father and his sister have their suspicions about the person that started the fire.
Reading This Week:

This week will be a long work week for me. I anticipate at least 3 late nights, which will impact my reading time. I will be happy if I finish one book this week!

I'm listening to the audio book. It's a bit slower than what I expected, with lots of details provided. (Not saying this is a bad thing though.) It's outside of my comfort zone which is why I picked it up! I am enjoying it so far.

These late nights at work is really interfering with my reading time! I'd rather be outside on my deck reading instead of at the office. So if I finish one book a week for the next two weeks, I will be happy! Please Look After Mom is a different read for me, however I am enjoying it.

Now that I've read Afterwards, I really want to read Sister! Apparently Please Look After Mom was a popular book I missed hearing about last year. I randomly picked it off the library shelf because it was outside of my comfort zone. It's good so far (I'm listening to the audio book BTW.)
