The weekend is here and that means it's time for BOOK BLOGGER HOP!
Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Jennifer of Crazy-for-Books. This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books!
This week's question: How many books do you have on your 'to be read shelf'?
Well, I think I will have to answer this question in two parts. Currently I have 120+ books that I have purchased, but have yet to read. I also track my list of books I want to read in an Excel spreadsheet. That list is roughly about 650 or so books! Looks like I have a lot of reading to do!

Hey Shon! Thanks for stopping by I'd So Rather Be Reading! If you're interested in Christian fiction, I would read Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. It is her best yet---simply outstanding. It's the retelling of Hosea's story...if it doesn't make you cry, there's something wrong! :)
ReplyDeleteJust hopping in here. I'm a new follower. Wow! 650 books!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

I'm hopping by via the Blogger Hop. Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI think our numbers are close (I have more than 150, but 118 of them are on my document).
I got too many but that's ok!
ReplyDeleteHave a blast hopping to/following new blogs or finding great books!

Thanks!
Hello Shon! Just hopping here. Thanks for stopping a my blog. You really have a LOAD of books there!
ReplyDeleteHoppin' by to say hello. --Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteYay, I also have an excel spread sheet where I keep track of where to find the books I want to read and if I can actually get my hands on them. I think you're very brave donating books to the library, I can't part from them (not even the ones I didn't like..)
ReplyDeleteVisiting from the HOP! You just gave me an idea...I have lists everywhere of books that I want to read. I should absolutely follow your practice and put them all on one Excel list. Especially since I order many of them through Interlibrary Loan. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteI hope you will have time to come by and visit one of my two blogs: Holocaust Resources or Library Cats Book List !!
Have a great weekend!
Hey Shon!
ReplyDeleteWe've got similar book tastes. I also have a huge pile. 100+. Found your blog through the hop.

Stopping by from the Hop to say hello! I'm another person who keeps a TBR on an Excel spreadsheet. Makes it easier to keep track of, for sure! :)
ReplyDeleteHopping by via the blog hop. I, too, have quite a lot of books waiting to be read...some actually sitting on my bookshelves and some on a list waiting for me to get.
ReplyDeleteI'm already a follower...just wanted to say hi!
The TBR would definitely be much higher on my list as well if I added all the ones I wanted to read. Whoa!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by my site There's A Book earlier! Great site you have!
