My Blog Turns 1!!
A year ago today I was reading book blogs and thought, "Hey, I can do this!" I immediately sat on my couch and started my blog. I have to confess, I did initially attempt to create a blog on iWeb, however the outcome wasn't what I pictured. So after feeling frustrated, I took a break and decided to start again. That was when I discovered Blogger and like they say, the rest was history.
I wasn't quite sure what I was getting myself into when I started blogging. And I really didn't have a clue what I was doing. I just decided to jump in and hoped for the best. I can't believe it has been a year. . .so much has happened in the last 365 days. I've joined weekly memes, signed up for too many reading challenges, added more titles to my never-ending TBR List (thanks to all the fabulous reviews I've read on others' book blogs), created a challenge blog and a reading journal blog and tried to keep up with writing reviews on books I've read. WHEW!
Thank you to everyone who took time to read my blog and leave comments. When I started, I wasn't sure if anyone would take an interest in reading my blog. I am not sure what the next 365 days will bring, but I have to admit I'm excited. In the coming year I would like to participate in blog tours, authors guest posting and more social events. Whatever happens, I'm just truly grateful that I've been able to share my passion for reading.
Mine, too! Congrats for hanging in there. I find myself feeling jealous at times of other bloggers with their shiny awards hanging all over their blogs and their vast numbers of followers posted on their blogs....Must remind myself that these things take time....
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogiversary! :) I'm glad you've had fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are enjoying your first year of blogging - we enjoy stopping by when we can. We're only about 7 months in ourselves. Your enthusiasm is infectious - in a good way - not like the swine flu
