Sunday Salon - Finished a book and discovered a new genre (well, sort of)

The Sunday Salon.com
I spent most of my day reading Breaking Dawn.  Read my review here.  I was so excited to read this book and was frustrated that other things prevented me from starting it.  Finally I was able to sit still long enough to begin.  Unfortunately, it went downhill from there.  I struggled through and tried to go with it, but just couldn't.

On a different note, yesterday I was browsing on A Novel Challenge and saw a new challenge listed:  Cozy Mystery Challenge.  Always up for a good mystery, I decided to check it out.  I then Googled cozy mystery and found this website.  I never heard of cozy mysteries, but was shocked to learn that I've read them in the past (who knew!).  So I found myself adding more books to my TBR list and I'm also browsing my library's catalog to see which the library owns.  I love it when I discover new books, genres or authors.

  3. I'm back reading Twilight. I couldn't even finish that last year as Edward and Bella's tragic relationship was driving me nuts! But I'm determined to get through this time and I'm only about quarter of the way in but I'm enjoying it. I've heard mixed things about Breaking Dawn, but I'm trying to stay away from reviews as obviously I haven't made it past book one yet. I too had never heard of cozy's until a year or so ago. I was like "What? As in Tea Cozy?". Happy Sunday! :)
